The Firm backs up its lawyers with a support staff that enables them to respond quickly and precisely to the clients' needs. The Firm's secretarial and administrative staff is well-qualified to perform whatever tasks are required to handle the clients' legal matters.

The firm had the privilege of the guidance of retired Federal Court Judge of Malaysia, the Honourable Dato' Haji Abu Mansor bin Ali until his demise in April 2008.

LOH CHANG WOO, Founder

Loh Chang Woo is a graduate of Monash University Australia, with combined degrees in laws and commerce (major in accountancy).

Before setting up the Firm, he specialised in debt restructuring in the height of the Asian financial crisis while he was practising with a corporate banking firm. Subsequently, he joined a boutique corporate law firm with offices in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore where he acted in the acquisition of a controlling stake of a major utility corporation valued at nearly RM750 million.

He now practises primarily in corporate commercial, banking, property and trade mark laws. At times, he advises on the formulation of litigation strategies and dispute resolution. Recent practice highlights include a divestment of a development project in China and settlement of a court claim in excess of RM100 million. He also acts for land owner for compensation in excess of RM55 million in relation to a major compulsory land acquisition by government for highway projects.

Fluent in English and Chinese languages, he has travelled extensively to China to represent clients in legal matters. He is also a trade mark agent for local and international owners.

He is also legal adviser to schools and is responsible for the setting up of a charitable trust.

LIM SHIN YEE, Partner

Graduated with honours in law from University of Malaya, Lim Shin Yee is trilingual, fluent in English and Chinese languages as well as Bahasa Melayu.

Shin Yee practices conveyancing, banking, civil litigation, will-writing and trust planning, debt recovery, matrimonial, probate and administration of estate. Her recent practice highlights include a family trust dispute and a claim against a multi-national company for wrongful termination of contract.

Prior to joining the Firm, she gained extensive experience from working with major legal firms.
